HOSEA'S HEART exists to empower the girls of Swaziland to achieve freedom from sexual abuse and hope for a better future by serving their physical, emotional and spiritual needs through a holistic, restorative process.
HEIFER INTERNATIONAL
HEIFER INTERNATIONAL is a sustainable development organization that works to end hunger and poverty and protect the earth. Collectively, we've partnered with Heifer in providing biogas stoves to two entire villages and we've provided gifts of livestock to more than 50 families.
FEEDONE
FEEDONE fights to end hunger and poverty with nutritious food and opportunities for children and families in need. Collectively, we've fed more than 40 children every day for 5+ years.
A NIGHT TO REMEMBER PROM
In Kenosha and Racine alone, there are approximately 1500+ individuals, ages 15-30, who have special needs. The special needs community is one of the most overlooked, marginalized, and neglected groups of people in the world.
One of the ways we’ve chosen to honor individuals with special needs is by hosting A NIGHT TO REMEMBER, a free prom celebrating individuals ages 15-30.
ROYAL FAMILY KIDS
ROYAL FAMILY KIDS creates life-changing moments through camps and mentoring clubs for children in foster care. Great Lakes Church has hosted 3 CAMPS for children in foster care in our surrounding communities.
GREAT LAKES KIDS
GREAT LAKES KIDS focuses on creating environments for children to help them learn about God’s love in creative and fun ways.
NEW CHURCHES
Great Lakes Church helps couples with a dream in their heart impact their city with the message of God's love! We do this by providing financial support, guidance, and resources to launch like-minded churches.
Some of the churches we've helped launch are: BLUE RIDGE CHURCH (Christiansburg, VA); CENTER CHURCH (San Diego); THE MEETING PLACE CHURCH (Spokane, WA); SAINTS COMMUNITY CHURCH (New Orleans, LA); THRIVE CHURCH (Mt. Pleasant, MI)
AGAPE HOUSE
AGAPE HOUSE helps enable girls and young women to grow in their self-esteem, overcome challenging histories, and stop self-destructive behaviors. We've partnered financially with Agape House and have helped with expenses related to the maintenance of their school.
CHARITY:WATER
For people in developing countries, clean water can change everything. Clean water means education, income and health - especially for women and kids.
Great Lakes Church partners with CHARITY:WATER in providing clean water projects to rural communites.
Here are the locations of villages we have provided clean water projects to: HONDURAS (2 projects); BANGLADESH (2 projects...in process)
FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN
FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN is a non-profit that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children. The process is simple. Meal ingredients are purchased with donations, volunteers hand-pack the meals, and then the meals are sent to food partners around the world who ensure kids are being fed!
Great Lakes Church partners with Feed My Starving Children by donating both time and money.
